We’ve started this discourse installation as a place where people interested in some of the work we do at Osmocom can communicate with each other. For the past 15 years we stuck to classic mailing lists, but it seems these days many people are no longer very fond (or even familiar) wtih using mailing lists.
This forum is open to anyone with an interest in open source mobile communications. This includes the actual Osmocom software and hardware projects, but also like-minded projects like open5gs, srsRAN/srsUE. We also welcome any discussions in general aroun cellular technology, resarch into both publicly specified as well as unknown/proprietary communications technologies of past, present and future.
The primary language here is English, though based on demand we may create categories/forums/topics in other languages such as German.
